About Us
FINCA PROCEL specializes in growing an exotic tropical fruit PITAHAYA or (Yellow Dragon Fruit). Also, we are direct exporters to the countries all over the world. The farm is located in the heart of Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest, near the small town called Palora. In the recent years, Palora became famous for the best yellow pitahaya in the world.
ABOUT OUR FARM
FINCA PROCEL is a family owned farm. We began growing Dragon Fruit in 2005. By now our farm has 20 hectares of pitahaya that produces about 400 000 kg of fruit per year.
We also work closely with other pitahaya farms in Palora region. Many of them are our certified suppliers.
Pitahaya fruit is being harvested year round; however, the high season is December through March, and September.
Yellow Dragon Fruit For Export
FINCA PROCEL produces an exports quality fresh fruit. In 2015 our business expanded from local to an international market. Also, we built a brand new fruit collection and packing plant. Now we are exporting 20 000 kg of fresh fruit weekly on average and looking forward to opening new international markets with the help of PRO ECUADOR, a government institution that promotes export and investment.
Safety
Both the farm and the fruit collection and packing plant are certified by Agrocalidad, an Ecuadorian agency that controls the quality of agro-produce, which assures the quality and safety of our product.
